At Kadi Consult we focus on sustainable socio-economic development in Sub-Saharan Africa, specifically in West Africa. We effectively help our clients to navigate through the complexities of local contexts and support project design and implementation at a rural, sectoral and national scale.

It is well known that the concept of sustainability in the development of nations has not been given as much importance at a global scale as it is being given today. It has become the score-tool for every development exercise, bringing along the compulsory need at conceptualization stage for proper contextual analyses and an understanding of the historical, social, economic and political behaviour of a given society to determine what is best and sustainable.

On the other hand, the process of driving sustainable change in today's world has also become more complex than ever due to challenges that are relatively modern or metamorphosed in nature. Challenges such as climate change, a drastic increase in world population vis-à-vis dwindling resources, persistent economic crisis, sporadic conflicts, migration, increased misinformation (fake news), cyber crimes, etc. For these reasons, project designers and implementers would need to consistently employ a muti-faceted and multi-sectoral approach to driving change if sustainability is the goal.

Additionally, investors also need now more than ever an enabling business environment which can assure them of a healthy investment climate. Away from general statistics data available on popular platforms such as statistica or World bank reports, investors also need to access qualitative data to understand how they complement or provide another perspective to what the statistics say. Investors need holistic insights stemming from a deep understanding of local context, intertwined with comparative analysis based on behavioural data across several communities within the region.

Ownership Structure

Kadi was established and led by three individuals who have the common desire and passion to improve the impact of international development work on communities in West Africa. They all have equal stakes and are similarly liable.

International Structure

We are functional in the sub-region of West Africa. Our first category countries of function are: Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Cameroon. The second category countries of function include: Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Senegal. Our focus is on serving our clients needs wherever they take us irrespective of where we are. That means we put the right people in the right place at the right time, wherever needed.

We believe that good communication is founded on simplicity and creativity, and delivers concrete results in both official languages in the region (English and French). Our expertise is deep, and based on years of gathered knowledge on local contexts to serve analytical needs for sustainable programmes, projects and investment.
